A Marvellous Night!

It truly was an extraordinary exhibition! I popped in about 6.30 on the way to another of my engagements, and by that time many of our lovely guests had already arrived - they were understandably keen! Cupcakes circulated, coloured balloons floated above, and the walls were hung with all manner of cute and clever artwork. Trish Walton started off proceedings with a short, sharp and shiny intro and then all was in full swing.

The guests were all impressed with our artists' talent and their purchases proved it. Julie's glassware in particular was snapped up very quickly, and Claire's cards and Tom's prints went at a steady rate all evening. Many of Donna's crocheted friends found new homes and Sarah's cows both went to fresh pastures. Needless to say our cashier David was kept very busy.

On Saturday the balloons came down and went home with our visitors, it was a relaxed day but equally as successful as Friday evening.

Congratulations to all the artists and my special helpers Carol, Claire and Donna, I couldn't have done it without you.

See you next year,

x Ms Doody

Some Wonderful Works

Here's a small sample of some lovely things for the exhibition; toys by Jessica Ween and Claire Richards and paintings by Claire, Carol Nicholls and Barbara Coddington. There's more on it's way!

Norwood Markets

Oh what a beautiful day it was! Claire and her market stall had a wonderful time. Mr sun was out, kids were giggling, and music was filling the air.

msdoodyart.blogspot.com is where you'll be able to find out all about me and the marvellous things I'm doing. I'll give you a sneak peak at some of the art that will be at the exhibition, and afterwards I'll post an exhibition photo gallery so we can see how it all went off. Well, must rush, can't wait to see you there!
